In the Batu Pahat district... Minyak Beku Recreation Beach is quite synonymous for the residents of this district to relax, breathe fresh air and enjoy the view of the sea of the Straits of Melaka which stretches wide.
In the subdistrict of Rengit... there are 2 beaches that are places for them to relax in the beach area, namely Punggor Beach and Perpat Beach. However... Punggor Beach is more visited by the locals of the Rengit subdistrict because regular dining facilities are provided.
However... the main problem faced by Punggor Beach is the endless erosion for many years.
This beach has very good potential to be used as a main family recreation center in this subdistrict and it is a great loss if the treasures of this natural beauty.
In the opinion of the authors of this blog... restoration efforts on this coastal area should be mobilized so that this coastal area does not become a fold of history in the future where no one can enter this coastal area due to the increasingly worrying coastal erosion.
The most important initial step that needs to be taken in starting the restoration process of Punggor recreational beach is definitely to prevent coastal erosion from continuing to occur.
May the efforts of the federal and state governments succeed in restoring this beach.
