The idea for an airfield seems to be extreme for a district located in peninsular Malaysia as the network of roads and highways in the peninsula is in a satisfactory condition and connects the majority of the people in the peninsula.

But... in terms of tourism potential based on the rural and agricultural environment... this is not something that is impossible in the future.

It is not impossible that one day... there are many agricultural millionaires who have farms outside the subdistrict, district or even their state live as an example if the agricultural millionaire lives in Kuala Lumpur and has a large pineapple farm in Rengit for example and chasing time and has a private jet or private helicopter... he can use his private jet or private helicopter by departing from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Sepang to the Rengit Airfield. Proposed Bus Terminal For Rengit In Seri Merlong Village?...

 

At the time this blogpost was being typed... the bus terminal closest to Rengit town is located in Benut town. Among the bus companies operating at this bus terminal is Coastal Omnibus Company Sdn Bhd (Coastal) which is one of the most synonymous routes is Benut - Rengit - Senggarang - Batu Pahat City (Penggaram).

Although this bus terminal is not very far from the Rengit town area... but there is only one route which is Benut Small Town Main Road - Batu Pahat City Center (Penggaram).

In the opinion of the author of this blog... the proposed bus terminal for the Rengit subdistrict can be implemented in Seri Merlong Village so that the villagers in the Seri Merlong Zone and Seri Aman Zone can use the bus service to get to Rengit town via Jalan Seri Ladang / Jayadiri. Apart from Rengit town... the bus route from this proposed bus terminal can go to Parit Raja (via Jalan Rejo Sari, Jalan Parit Botak & Jalan Parit Raja Darat), Simpang Renggam (via Jalan Parit Betak & Jalan Besar Simpang Renggam - Benut), Benut (via Jalan Parit Betak & Jalan Besar Simpang Renggam - Benut) & Batu Pahat / Penggaram city (via Jalan Rejo Sari, Jalan Parit Kemang, Jalan Besar Senggarang - Batu Pahat).

The proposed bus terminal can boost the local economy, encourage the use of public transport among the rural community and reduce smoke pollution because nowadays... the rural community is also able to own vehicles such as cars and motorcycles.

May this matter become a reality in the future.
