In the Batu Pahat district... there is a river port located near Jalan Shahbandar, Penggaram. The port of this river is often visited by small ships loaded with agricultural-based goods such as bananas and others from Riau Province, Indonesia.
In the opinion of the author of this blog... Rengit is also suitable to build a river port to function just like the river port of Jalan Shahbandar, Penggaram.
Apart from importing agricultural products from Riau Province, Indonesia... the locals of this subdistrict especially farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs can export their agricultural products to Riau Province and maybe even in most places in Sumatra using this river port.
Or if it is not a river port... at least a river jetty for Rengit can be built to export a small amount of Rengit agricultural produce to several districts in Riau Provincw in quantities appropriate to financial factors.
This will to some extent help to boost the agricultural industry in the subdistrict of Rengit and at the same time increase income and opportunities in the agricultural industry for those who are involved in this industry.
I hope one day in the future... this thing can become real.
