Although Punggur Town is a small town, its role as urbanization center and economy is still more important in this parish than in other areas. Although there is an area of residential estate near Punggur Town... however, it does not have a Head of Village nor does the Chairman of the Residents Association. This residential estate shares a Head of Village with the Punggur Town area.

Walaupun terdapat satu kawasan taman perumahan berhampiran dengan Pekan Punggur... akan tetapi taman perumahan itu tidak mempunyai Ketua Kampung dan tidak juga mempunyai Pengerusi Persatuan Penduduk. Kawasan taman perumahan ini berkongsi seorang Ketua Kampung dengan kawasan Pekan Punggur.
