In the Batu Pahat district... only the city of Batu Pahat (Penggaram) has a cinema for film fans of Batu Pahat district to watch their favorite movies. Residents of Rengit who want to watch their favorite movie in the cinema... they should go to the cinema in the city of Batu Pahat (Penggaram).
At the time this blogpost was being typed... Batu Pahat city (Penggaram) has 2 cinema operating companies namely MBO Cinemas located in Square One mall and the other is Paragon Cinemas located in Batu Pahat Mall mall (better known by locals in this district as BP Mall).
If there are cinema operating companies that are interested in settling in other towns besides Batu Pahat (Penggaram) in this district... the towns that are seen as potential in the view of the author of this blog are Yong Peng, Parit Raja & Rengit.
In the 70s and 80s... Rengit had a small cinema located at Jalan Besar Rengit junction into Jalan Jayadiri and close to Chong Hwa Chinese School. However... the building premises have become a clothing store.
Is it possible that one day Rengit will have a cinema again for Rengit residents to watch their favorite movies without having to go to Batu Pahat (Penggaram)?
