In the state of Johor at the time this blogpost was being typed... the district that has more than one district education office (PPD) is the Johor Bahru district which is divided into two district education offices (PPD) namely PPD Johor Bahru and PPD Pasir Gudang.

As Batu Pahat district is the second most populous district in the state of Johor after Johor Bahru district... Batu Pahat district has the potential to have more than one PPD. Batu Pahat district has the potential to be divided into three PPDs, namely Batu Pahat PPD, Yong Peng PPD & Rengit PPD.

The breakdown of PPD administration in Batu Pahat district can help the district education administration monitor the development, research & learning operations in schools.

Pejabat Pelajaran Daerah Kecil Rengit... Sudah Tiba Masanya?...

Di negeri Johor pada ketika blogpost ini sedang ditaip... daerah yang mempunyai lebih dari satu pejabat pelajaran daerah (PPD) ialah daerah Johor Bahru yang dipecahkan kepada dua pejabat pelajaran daerah (PPD) iaitu PPD Johor Bahru dan PPD Pasir Gudang.

Memandangkan daerah Batu Pahat merupakan daerah kedua paling ramai populasi di negeri Johor selepas daerah Johor Bahru... daerah Batu Pahat berpotensi untuk mempunyai lebih daripada satu PPD. Daerah Batu Pahat berpotensi dipecahkan kepada tiga PPD iaitu PPD Batu Pahat, PPD Yong Peng & PPD Rengit.

Pecahan pentadbiran PPD di daerah Batu Pahat boleh membantu pihak pentadbiran pelajaran daerah memantau pembangunan, penyelidikan & operasi pembelajaran di sekolah.

Public Institutions of Higher Learning for Rengit... Tun Sardon College... Is It Time?...

 

Batu Pahat District has a public university named University of Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) located in Parit Raja. The university was so named in conjunction with the third Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Hussein Onn, who once held the position of Member of Parliament for the Sri Gading constituency which also includes the Parit Raja area.

If the name of Tun Sardon Jubir is mentioned in the Rengit area... the name is not so foreign because when the second Malayan election was held... Tun Sardon Jubir represented the North Pontian parliamentary constituency. At that time... the Rengit area was also located in the North Pontian parliamentary constituency even though at that time the Rengit area was indeed under the Batu Pahat district land administration. Rengit area (Batu Pahat district) and Benut area (Pontian district) formed a parliamentary constituency at that time and was named the North Pontian parliamentary constituency. Before becoming a member of parliament for North Pontian... Tun Sardon Jubir became a member of parliament for Segamat after winning the first Malayan general election in 1955.

Tun Sardon Jubir also used to be the Most Honorable (TYT) Yang Dipertua Negeri Penang or the community of the state people prefer to say the word "Governor". The Tun Sardon Foundation was also established and based in the state of Penang.

Although the history of Tun Sardon Jubir's political career is related to the Rengit area, but most of Tun Sardon Jubir's family members can now say that no one lives in Rengit and does not even live in this district.

Most of Tun Sardon Jubir's family members now live in Kuala Lumpur or abroad. Historically... Tun Sardon was among the politicians who fought alongside Dato 'Onn Jaafar and Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj in securing the independence of Malaya (Malayan Federation) and as formed the first cabinet Malaya at that has put Tun Sardon in the line of the federal cabinet.

Therefore... the author of this blog thinks that if the federal and state governments want to establish a second public higher learning institution (IPTA) in this district and the first in Rengit... the government can work with Yayasan Tun Sardon (Tun Sardon Foundation) to set up an IPTA named Tun Sardon College to further develop knowledge, research, development and boost the local economic sector.

Intitusi Pengajian Tinggi Awam Untuk Rengit... Kolej Tun Sardon... Sudah Tiba Masanya?...

Daerah Batu Pahat mempunyai sebuah uiversiti awam yang diberi nama Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) yang terletak di Parit Raja. Universiti tersebut dinamakan sedemikian bersempena mengenang Perdana Menteri Malaysia ketiga iaitu Tun Hussein Onn yang pernah menyandang jawatan ahli parlimen kawasan Sri Gading yang juga merangkumi kawasan Parit Raja.

Jika disebut nama Tun Sardon Jubir di kawasan Rengit... nama itu tidaklah begitu asing kerana ketika pilihanraya Malaya yang kedua diadakan... Tun Sardon Jubir mewakili kawasan parlimen Pontian Utara. Ketika itu... kawasan Rengit juga terletak di dalam kawasan parlimen Pontian Utara walaupun pada ketika itu juga kawasan Rengit sememangnya terletak di bawah pentadbiran tanah daerah Batu Pahat. Kawasan Rengit (daerah Batu Pahat) dan kawasan Benut (daerah Pontian) membentuk satu kawasan parlimen ketika itu dan diberi nama kawasan parlimen Pontian Utara. Sebelum menjadi ahli parlimen Pontian Utara... Tun Sardon Jubir menjadi ahli parlimen Segamat setelah memenangi pilihanraya umum Malaya yang pertama pada tahun 1955.

Tun Sardon Jubir juga pernah menjadi Tuan Yang Terutama (TYT) Yang Dipertua Negeri Pulau Pinang atau masyarakat warga negeri tersebut lebih gemar menyebut perkataan "Gabenor". Yayasan Tun Sardon juga ditubuhkan dan berpengkalan di negeri Pulau Pinang.

Walaupun sejarah kerjaya politik Tun Sardon Jubir mempunyai perkaitan dengan kawasan Rengit tetapi kebanyakkan ahli keluarga Tun Sardon Jubir kini boleh dikatakan tiada seorang pun menetap di Rengit dan bahkan jua tidak menetap di daerah ini.

Kebanyakkan ahli keluarga Tun Sardon Jubir kini menetap di Kuala Lumpur atau di luar negara. Dari segi sejarah... Tun Sardon merupakan antara tokoh politik yang berjuang bersama-sama Dato' Onn Jaafar dan Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj dalam mendapatkan kemerdekaan Persekutuan Tanah Melayu (Malaya Federation) dan sebaik kabinet Malaya pertama yag terbentuk pada ketika itu juga telah meletakkan Tun Sardon dalam barisan kabinet persekutuan.

Oleh kerana demikian... pengarang blog ini berpendapat sekiranya kerajaan persekutuan dan kerajaan negeri mahu menubuhkan institusi pengajian tinggi awam (IPTA) kedua di daerah ini dan pertama di Rengit... pihak kerajaan boleh bekerjasam dengan Yayasan Tun Sardon untuk menubuhkan IPTA yang diberi nama Kolej Tun Sardon bagi mengembangkan lagi ilmu pengetahuan, penyelidikan, pembangunan serta merancakkan sektor ekonomi tempatan.

Should Rengit Local Authorities Be Established And Separated From The Administration Of Batu Pahat Municipal Council (MPBP)?...

 

At the time this blogpost was being typed... Rengit was placed under the administration of Batu Pahat Municipal Council (MPBP) in terms of local authority administration despite having its own small district land administration.

Batu Pahat District so far as this blogpost is being typed... there are only two local authorities, namely Batu Pahat Municipal Council (MPBP) and Yong Peng District Council (MDYP). Batu Pahat Municipal Council (MPBP) was formerly known as West Batu Pahat District Council (MDBPB) before being upgraded to Batu Pahat Municipal Council (MPBP) in 2001. Yong Peng District Council (MDYP) was formerly known as East Batu Pahat District Council (MDBPT). ) before being renamed Yong Peng District Council (MDYP) in 2001.

Should the local authority in Rengit be created and separated from the administration of Batu Pahat Municipal Council (MPBP)? The question is up to the power of the state government because the land administration and local authorities in the state are under the jurisdiction of the state government.

While this blogpost is being typed... all local authorities in the state are monitored by the Chairman of the Johor State Housing & Local Government Committee (Exco) ~ Honorable (YB) Tuan Haji Ayub bin Tuan Haji Jamil... who also is a member of the Johor state assembly for the Rengit constituency.

Honorable (YB) Tuan Haji Ayub bin Tuan Haji Jamil seems to be focusing on upgrading the local authority in Johor Bahru district, namely Johor Bahru City Council (MBJB) to Johor Bahru City Hall (DBJB ) and Pasir Gudang Municipal Council (MPPG) to Pasir Gudang City Council (MBPG).

The local authority outside the Johor Bahru district that may be under the observation of the Honorable (YB) Tuan Haji Ayub bin Tuan Haji Jamil to be upgraded is the Kota Tinggi District Council (MDKT) to the Kota Tinggi Municipal Council (MPKT) because it is in the district Kota Tinggi... Haruskah & Wajarkah Pihak Berkuasa Tempatan (PBT) Rengit Diwujudkan Serta Dipisahkan Daripada Pentadbiran Majlis Perbandaran Batu Pahat (MPBP)?...

Pada ketika blogpost ini sedang ditaip... Rengit diletakkan di bawah pentadbiran Majlis Perbandaran Batu Pahat (MPBP) dari segi pentadbiran pihak berkuasa tempatan (PBT) walaupun mempunyai pentadbiran tanah daerah kecil sendiri.

Daerah Batu Pahat setakat sehingga blogpost ini sedang ditaip... hanya terdapat dua pihak berkuasa tempatan sahaja iaitu Majlis Perbandaran Batu Pahat (MPBP) dan Majlis Daerah Yong Peng (MDYP). Majlis Perbandaran Batu Pahat (MPBP) dahulunya dikenali sebagai Majlis Daerah Batu Pahat Barat (MDBPB) sebelum dinaiktaraf menjadi Majlis Perbandaran Batu Pahat (MPBP) pada tahun 2001. Majlis Daerah Yong Peng (MDYP) pula dahulunya dikenali sebagai Majlis Daerah Batu Pahat Timur (MDBPT) sebelum ditukar nama menjadi Majlis Daerah Yong Peng (MDYP) pada tahun 2001.

Haruskah & wajarkah pihak berkuasa tempatan (PBT) di Rengit diwujudkan serta dipisahkan daripada pentadbiran Majlis Perbandaran Batu Pahat (MPBP)? Persoalan itu terserah kepada kuasa kerajaan negeri kerana pentadbiran tanah dan pihak berkuasa tempatan di negeri ini terletak di bawah bidang kuasa kerajaan negeri.

Ketika blogpost ini sedang ditaip... semua pihak berkuasa tempatan (PBT) di negeri ini dipantau selia oleh Pengerusi Jawatankuasa (Exco) Perumahan & Kerajaan Tempatan Negeri Johor ~ Yang Behormat (YB) Tuan Haji Ayub bin Tuan Haji Jamil... yang juga merupakan seorang ahli dewan undangan negeri Johor bagi kawasan Rengit.

Yang Behormat (YB) Tuan Haji Ayub bin Tuan Haji Jamil kelihatannya sedang menumpukan kepada penaiktarafan pihak berkuasa tempatan (PBT) di daerah Johor Bahru iaitu Majlis Bandaraya Johor Bahru (MBJB) kepada Dewan Bandaraya Johor Bahru (DBJB) dan Majlis Perbandaran Pasir Gudang (MPPG) kepada Majlis Bandaraya Pasir Gudang (MBPG).

Pihak berkuasa tempatan (PBT) di luar daerah Johor Bahru yang mungkin sedang dalam pemerhatian Yang Behormat (YB) Tuan Haji Ayub bin Tuan Haji Jamil untuk dinaiktaraf ialah Majlis Daerah Kota Tinggi (MDKT) kepada Majlis Perbandaran Kota Tinggi (MPKT) kerana di dalam daerah Kota Tinggi... Pihak Berkuasa Tempatan Pengerang (PBTP) sudah dinaiktaraf menjadi Majlis Perbandaran Pengerang (MPP) sedangkan bandar Kota Tinggi yang terletak di bawah pentadbiran Majlis Daerah Kota Tinggi (MDKT) masih belum dinaiktaraf sedangkan pusat urbanisasi ekonomi utama dan pentadbiran daerah seperti pejabat agensi kerajaan peringkat daerah, perbankan utama peringkat daerah dan lain-lain terletak di bandar Kota Tinggi. Bahkan jua populasi di kawasan pentadbiran Majlis Daerah Kota Tinggi (MDKT) masih lebih ramai jika hendak dibandingkan dengan populasi di kawasan pentadbiran Majlis Perbandaran Pengerang (MPP). Sewajarnya Majlis Daerah Kota Tinggi (MDKT) dinaiktaraf menjadi Majlis Perbandaran Kota Tinggi (MPKT) agar imej urbanisasinya seimbang dengan penarafan.

Selain Majlis Daerah Kota Tinggi (MDKT)... pihak berkuasa tempatan (PBT) di luar daerah Johor Bahru yang mungkin sedang dalam pemerhatian Yang Behormat (YB) Tuan Haji Ayub bin Tuan Haji Jamil selaku Pengerusi Jawatankuasa (Exco) Perumahan & Kerajaan Tempatan Negeri Johor ialah Majlis Daerah Pontian (MDP) kepada Majlis Perbandaran Pontian (MPP) dan Majlis Daerah Yong Peng (MDYP) kepada Majlis Perbandaran Yong Peng (MPYP).

Walaupun ramai warga negeri Johor beranggapan bahawa bandar Batu Pahat (Penggaram) merupakan bandar kedua terbesar di Johor selepas bandaraya Johor Bahru (Tanjung Puteri)... namun begitu... Yang Behormat (YB) Tuan Haji Ayub bin Tuan Haji Jamil selaku Pengerusi Jawatankuasa (Exco) Perumahan & Kerajaan Tempatan Negeri Johor merasakan penaiktarafan Majlis Perbandaran Batu Pahat (MPBP) kepada Majlis Bandaraya Batu Pahat (MBBP) masih jauh untuk dijadikan kenyataan.

Oleh kerana itu jualah... pengarang blog ini berpendapat bahawa Pihak Berkuasa Tempatan Rengit (PBTR) masih jauh untuk menjadi nyata kerana jika perkara itu menjadi nyata... ia akan melambatkan proses Majlis Perbandaran Batu Pahat (MPBP) untuk dinaiktaraf menjadi Majlis Bandaraya Batu Pahat (MBBP) suatu hari nanti pada masa akan datang kerana Rengit menyumbangkan angka populasi Majlis Perbandaran Batu Pahat (MPBP).

Rengit Police Station Upgraded To Rengit District Police Headquarters (IPD)... Is It Time?...

 

In the honest view of the author of this blog... the ratio of the number of members, officers, stations and IPD (District Police Headquarters) in this country is still not enough to control crime at the best level.

However... the author of this blog understands that the government is careful in managing the country's expenditure from the country's relatively limited financial resources.

Whatever... the author of this blog hopes that one day in the future... the government through KDN (Ministry of Home Affairs) can balance the ratio so that the people are satisfied with the rate of crime control in this country.

And because of that too... the author of this blog thinks that this Rengit Police Station in the future... should be upgraded to a District Police Headquarters (IPD) named IPD Rengit or IPD South Batu Pahat  led by OCPD (Officer Chief Police District) with the rank of at least DSP (Deputy Superintendent of Police).

May this be a reality one day in the future.
